Emma qualified from the University of Newcastle in 2000, and joined the practice after qualification.
Emma has a strong commitment towards the Whitley Dental Clinic and prides herself in providing the highest standards of dental care to all of her patients. Emma also specialises in providing sedation for nervous and anxious patients.
Emma believes that continual professional development is key in providing up to date patient care, and routinely attends postgraduate courses. She holds an Honorary Clinical lecture position at Newcastle Dental hospital and is an approved foundation dentist trainer. This involves developing the skills of newly qualified dentists.
Emma lives in the Rowlands Gill area with her family. She likes nothing more than walking the dog in the local forest with her husband and son.

Michael qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 2003 and has worked at the Whitley Dental Clinic since that time. He is committed to creating a friendly environment where his patients feel safe and well cared for.
He continues to improve his skills and knowledge through postgraduate courses to stay at the top of his profession, and believes long term continuing care to be essential in looking after his patients.
Michael was born and brought up on a farm in Lancashire and moved to Newcastle in 1998 to attend dental school, where he met his wife Natasha.

James Bough qualified from Newcastle University in 2007 and joined the practice after qualifying. He has continued to work at the practice since and has always maintained a strong commitment to high quality dental care.
Patient comfort and satisfaction is extremely important to James. He believes all patients are entitled to and deserve the highest standards of care.
James actively encourages patient involvement when deciding upon treatment with the use of photography,
x-rays and visual aids.

He also holds an Honorary Clinical Lecturer position at the Newcastle Dental Hospital.
James was born in York and originally came to Newcastle to take his dental degree at Newcastle University
James recently moved to Tynemouth with his partner Lyndsay.

Lucy qualified from the University of Newcastle, and joined the practice after qualification.
Lucy has a particular interest in treating our anxious and younger patients and finds it very rewarding to provide patients with a positive experience of their visit to the surgery.
Lucy is committed to providing the highest standards of dental care to all of her patients and believes that continuing professional development is important in providing excellent patient care.
Lucy is from Belfast and currently lives in Jesmond.
